Air source heat pumps consume significantly less energy compared to traditional heaters. They extract heat from the surrounding air and elevate it to a higher temperature. Air-to-water heat pumps, with their high Coefficient of Performance (COP), can substantially decrease the energy consumption of your hot tub or swim spa. For instance, a unit with a COP of 12 indicates its ability to generate 12kW of heat energy for every 1kW of electricity consumed.
